During our lean journey which started in Savcan Textile in 2007, we aimed to improve people, the most precious beings of our company, by training them and continuously get better in our processes with lean system. Over years, we accomplished sustainability and making lean system a part of our main actions with lean tools that we internalized both in the field and administrative operations. In the scope of perfectionism in our value chain, we always kept the big picture on the agenda with practices such as monthly cockpit meetings, company multi-skill matrix, internal evaluation and systematic key performance revision.
The point we reached with lean practices made the necessity for digital transformation unavoidable. In 2018, we prioritized our use cases with detailed need analysis in the scope of Industry 4.0. We specified the detailed user-functional needs and the route map for the first case. What we will be doing is to perform all of them with the support of management.
